Shunyata cables vs Nordost Frey I have auditioned the Shunyata cables and found they had a big soundstage and were very neutral but dry and little bright. Then I got the Synergistic Tesla Accelerators. They are as fast as the Nordost plus nicely warm, musical and the tightest ba...

Focal JM Lab Everything sounds bright at Tweeter. I bought Focal JM Lab Profile 918 speakers, which I auditioned in Tweeter. I ended up finding them on A-gon for 1/2 price so I snatched them up. At home, my room is acoustically treated and I also have better s...

Need a good high-pass Xover for Sonus REL Bob, you just dont get it. I have read most of your posts. And I disagree as do many others here on Audiogon to your electronic crossover solution. I dont think you ever answered the question "Have you ever heard a REL subwoofer?" and configured...
REL is dead. Long live REL TAS magazine gave the Rel Britannia B3, subwoofer of the year 2006! And I agree. I own one and its great! Upgrade the Neutrik connector to a Signal Cable or even better Synergistic Research.
Applications for Shunyata Hydra ? Try a PS Audio regenerated power supply if you do not have dedicated outlets. There is much information on their products here.
Utopia Micros + Sub vs. Utopia Divas vs. Merlin If you use a Rel Sub you will not need pre-amp outputs. This is because the connection is made directly to your amp. I have a Rel Britannia B3 and it blends very smoothly with my JM Lab - Focal Profile 918's. I researched many subs and there are l...
