Steve Windwood .. Back In The High Life. A friend invited me over to check out this amazing new technology and he played this cd for me. I went out the next day and bought a cd player and the cd.
The OFFICAL Apple TV thread
Lush .. I'm not sure either but my understanding is Macs have been used for years by most pro studios, thus mastering software like Amarra and Pure Vinyl (from which Pure Music is derived) has remained in the Mac domain predominately. JRiver Media...

Kbarkamian .. the Tranquility has USB input only. Glad to hear using a more expensive dac than the V-DAC was a significant difference for you. Perhaps that will be an upgrade path I will take in the future.Lush .. I had a similar experience after ...

The OFFICAL Apple TV thread
I'm glad you posted this topic. I use my ATV2 mostly for streaming radio from my iPad to my system. Occasionally I will stream Apple Lossles files from the iPad as well. It's connected to a Musical Fidelity V-DAC using a 1 meter Monster Interlink ...

Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
Hey .. nice to see this thread is still alive. Being an "Ohm boy" (LOL) I do check/lurk occasionally. Saw this on the Audiophiliac blog:http://news.cnet.com/audiophiliac/?tag=blgs.listAlways nice to see John and his company get some press.
Do all Class D amps lack soundstage depth?

Artmaltman .. in my system I hear no difference in bass. The loss of fidelity I detect is a bit of congestion in the mids and highs. It doesn't seem quite as refined. Soundstage is just a bit off as well .. although as I've stated, most acceptable...

Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
Marty .. thanks, I appreciate your advice. This gives me an approach I hadn't considered. I clearly need to do some more reading.
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
Would love to hear from Ohm owners .. should I get a new subwoofer? First off I'd like to say I'm very happy with my modest little system right now and have no NEED to change anything. That being said, out of curiosity I've been playing with my ol...
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
Rebbi .. when I decided to take a chance on the Ohms there was very little if any discussion like this thread. Good quality stuff here. Will be very helpful to others who are curious but hesitant.I read about John's passing when I went back to rev...
Anyone using a touch screen for PC audio?
I have an HP Touchsmart pc connected wirelessly to my system so it's not sitting on my audio rack but the touchscreen interface is a slick, convenient, nice looking option. Highly recommended.
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
