| Who makes a digital crossover? I looked at accuphase, rane and dbx and I'm pretty sure they all take a digital signal, convert to analog and then offer analog slope crossovers. I couldn't find XTA. Anybody else? | |
| MSB Platinum DAC I enjoy mine because it's the only DAC that can truly drive an amp without a preamp, and no preamp is better than any preamp. You do need to find a way to do volume though and I use a Z-Systems RDP-1 before the MSB or a Placette remote volume after. | |

| Best speakers for 2A3 SET amplifier? Don't forget the Kochel's. 97db, nice looking too. Kind of halfway between a horn like Avantgarde and normal dynamic speakers. Great sound, best piano I've ever heard. I have a pair and use a 300B SET amp on them. | |

| highest damping factor amp Thanks for the reply. The Crown amp you mentioned is the highest I've ever heard of too. It's too big for what I need. Twin TAD 15inch drivers that are 97db efficient each. I don't need much power, just control. Was thinking Aleph 3's. |
