tubes and maggies are NOT a great combinationof course you can make it work, but the impedance and efficiency characteristics of the maggies make it hard to most tube amps (save very high powered ones) to do their bestmaybe in a smallish room at f...

@mesch giving good advice herealso, +1 on smaller proac floorstanders for a natural yet detailed sound with excellent bass, they are real gemsthis being said, smaller skinny floorstanders are the suv of the speaker industry... for modern decors it...

seems to me that since class d is newer tech with new possibilities for good sounding cost effective builds and a lot of active innovation in the amp modules, there are many new efforts to make good sounding amps using these modulesas in any case ...

i haven’t seen a streamer with a built in cd transport as yet (i am sure someone will correct me on this if i have missed one out there...)so i think you’ll need to get separate boxes for a and b

class d amplification is a just technologyhow it is designed and voiced determines how it soundsjust like a class ab amp can sound sharp with flat soundstage... well sometimes, even often the case... but not always

looks like it sells at most retailers for $900, so if it is in excellent condition perhaps ask for 60% of that... hopefully you have the original box and packing for the unit
