Old Amp vs. New Amp
I have been using a pair of Bryston 3Bs from the late 90s...they work great. 
When and how did you, if at all, realize vinyl is better?
I realized that vinyl is not better, but that many recordings on vinyl are better than those on CD and that vinyl is more forgiving of not as good recordings then is CD.

I am with CZARIVEY on this ...if the ones and zeros can make it from one end of the cable to the other, there can be no difference in sound.

Bryston makes and did make in that period very solid reliable, neutral sounding amps. Very reasonable used.

I biamp mine Maggies with Bryston 3Bs ...I bought them used and they were not particularly expensive.
