Actual Lead Time on Tekton Speakers
On the other hand, if Tekton was aware of the extra cost to deliver the speakers to your home, that cost would have been added to the overall purchase price of the moabs.  So you are where you would have been anyway, except as you state above, it ...
Actual Lead Time on Tekton Speakers
@daros71It is beyond comprehension that you paid for a pair of speakers and they are not delivering them to your house.  This is of course unless you were previously informed of this delivery fact and did not understand.Assuming you were not notif...
Schiit Lokius anyone?
Hi secretguy, I would say ghosthouse’s excellent description of the lokius more than covers anything that I could ever write.Big ditto on it is invisible to your system when on and all the tone controls in their neutral position, just wonderful.My...
Townshend Audio Podiums: The Full Review
Actually quite surprising how badly the poster was treated, wouldn’t have expected it from all the stories.  Must have been a bad day.
Using Smart Plugs to Turn on Subwoofers
The first time you leave them on overnight feel how warm the sub's amplifiers are on the back just for your peace of mind.
Schiit Lokius anyone?
Will do, but have houseguests so may take a few days.
Subwoofer Footing - Connect or Isolate?

What DAC upgrade made you say “DAMN, that sounds SO MUCH better than my last DAC”?
I didn't realize that any of the Schitt DACs sound tizzy or shrill.  But I have never heard one.
Lay Off the Newbies!
Four years ago an indivdual new to audio would have been given good advice on building a great system within the newbie’s budget, whether two channel or home theater.  Now there are "expert" habitual posters that makes this not so much the case.A ...
Townshend Maximum Supertweeters
Tongue in CheekAudiophiles who understand the supertweeters impact on the physical enjoyment of listening to music by stimulating the ear hairs responsible for the range of sound that cannot be heard by humans will also understand the need to tayl...
Museatex Bitstream DAC
I can’t speak to the sound of the Bitstream compared to other DACs, but will mention it was designed and manufactured by Ed Meitner. You know it has to sound good. John Wright offers mods to this and other Museatex and Meilor products.  I should m...
