Townshend Audio F1 Fractal Speaker Cables einstein, Always amazes me how something can be explained clearly over and over again and yet not catch on, while at the same time some false notion gets mentioned and takes hold and takes on a life of its own. My bad, in this case the only po...
Midbass issues Schitt Audio sells 3 equalizers, I have the Lokius. Schiit Audio: Audio Products Designed and Built in California I am guilty of assuming that you would find the adjustments you required with the 5 EQ bands of the Lokius. Schiit Audio: Audio Pr...
Townshend Audio F1 Fractal Speaker Cables I am not sure if this is relevant to the above discussion, or if different values would be needed, but certain amplifiers (very few) could go into oscillation with Goertz Alpha Core ribbon or flat speaker cables. So, Bridgeport Magnetics, which o...
Midbass issues @bache I purchased the newly introduced Schitt Lokius ($300) a few months ago. I find it works very well for fine tuning speaker frequencies. I wanted to add just a touch more treble emphasis to my soft dome tweeters. For me it is basically s...

Audio Research VSi75 - End of Tube Life? KT120 vs KT150? @rossb I would be curious to learn if you eventually spoke with ARC and how they advised you? Did you stick with the 150s or the 120s? Thanks

First tubes in 30 years @jaytor As others have written, beautiful work. But even further, and I may be in the minority regarding this, but I totally appreciate a system being in an attractive and inviting room like yours.
Pass Labs X260.8 As an aside, there is a very well-respected pre/amp manufacturer on this site, and if I understand correctly, he states that there is little difference in sound from one XLR interconnect to another. As contrasted with RCA interconnects. Cannot ve... |
