| Where would you put better power cable? For me I put the best power cable I have on my source which is a CDP. Also if you have a lot of components plugged into a power conditioner without a captive cord I'd put the best power cord you have on that conditioner. | |

| Passive Preamp Recommendations? How about a used McCormack TLC-1 or TLC-1 Deluxe preamp? I'm surprised McCormack or Mod Squad passive preamps have not been mentioned. Very good quality build and re-sale value, if bought used, is retained. |
