You may not be able to do anything, being you live so close to the tower. You might call the station and ask to talk to a tech. Explain your problem to him, he might be able to filter it out. Be nice, It is your problem not the stations. Are your s...
rca to bnc adaptors- does it hurt the sound??
You will be adding two more connections to the link, but I doubt very much you would hear any difference in the sound.Go for it. It is cheaper than buying a new cable.Sorry can`t help you on the other question Jim
What is meant by the term "B stock"?
Ekistler,Would you check the serial number and check if an additional letter was stamped for "B" stock? If it is stamped on the box you would think it would be tagged on the unit. Just curious. Thanks Jim
What is meant by the term "B stock"?
Yes they can also be refurbished. Refurbished, for what ever reason a new unit is sent back to the factory or a factory authorized service center, not a dealer sevice, to repair or correct a defect.
So YOU can't hear a difference in cables
Just to put my two cents in. I too think it might be the sony. Have you tried an RFI filter on your powercord? Try it. Buy a Shakti on-line, or AudioQuest clamp on rfi filter, or some comparable brand. Install it on the powercord just at the base ...

what if you put too much lead shot in your speaker
mbolddal, my ProAc`s uses dry silver sand instead of lead shot. But I think it does the same thing. Here is what proAc says, "a small amount of sand will give the bass more warmth, adding more sand to the cavity will give a dryer tighter quality, ...

Jmcgrogan2, Ya, but does it work!!Xiekitchen, I agree with with you, some music you just have to play loud. Pink Floyd,"Dark Side Of The Moon",and just about any Led Zeppelin. And many many more. But when I listen to "Sinatra", "Tony Bennett","Jame...
Best excuse for playing loud music?
A good audio system, in a good sound environment does not have to be played loud to sound good. Mediocre equipt will sound better if played loud. I think it has something to do with resonance. If you have been in a midfi audio store to listen to a...

I would contact the dealer where you bought it from. Ask him why. Rotel makes a very good product. Maybe yours is defective.
Some digital comparisons: cables,transports&jitter
