So many preamps, so little time
I love my VTL TL-5.5, it replaced a Cry SLP98F1. I'd love to mate it with VTL tube amplification, but haven't got there yet.Jeff

Need your inputs - Leaving HT to 2ch
1-I wouldn't, why would ? To each thier own.2-You could improve your 2-channel and still keep your 5.1, just adding a decent 2 channel pre would help and ipmroving on that would be a better amp/amps for the main speakers. Another option would be a...
What is the best way to add a 5:1 system
There are many, many threads on this. It's very easy to do, you just need to hook up the pre-outs from your HT processor or receiver for the front mains to an input on your pre amp.(except phono) If your pre has an HT pass through, that's even bet...

disco demolition night
I was there(25 years old), hated disco and I couldn't beleive what was happening. You got in for free or 99 cents(can't remember) if you brought in a disco album and there was one huge pile of albums, that went kaboom! Still today it's one of the ...
Opinions on Blu-ray with a 480p DLP projector?
John,You seem to understand the ups and downs. Why exactly isn't the Oppo your 1st choice for audio? Your original question was about video, audio depends on the rest of your system. Again, I say, 30 day in home trial.Regards Jeff
Opinions on Blu-ray with a 480p DLP projector?
Why not try an Oppo upconverting DVD player or the BD-83 Blu Ray? You have a 30 day trial period.Jeff
