ACI Titan II LE vs REL: Opinions DMl1:www.audioc.comMark:Our results were the exact opposite. We took the time to level match etc. I sure can't figure how we could have such different results. Oh well, we both ended up with subs we enjoy! Just curious, what are your main speakers?
ACI Titan II LE vs REL: Opinions Friends and I have done an extensive comparison of the Titan II vs. the REL Storm III. The ACI integrates as well or better, has better pitch definition, and has substantially higher output capabilities. I think the Titan II vs. the Stadium III is...
Martin-Logan Descent or Rel Stadium Subwoofer Haven't yet heard the Descent. I have heard the Stadium III and good as it is, I'd suggest you also add the ACI Titan II to your short list. You could get a pair of Titan IIs for less than a Stadium III. The Titan II produces superbly accurate bas...
Audio Artistry Beethoven - anybody has heard? Heard them at several shows a few years back. Don't remember specifics, but I know they were some of the best sound of the show each time I heard them.
I need to be wowed Cool cats, nice place. Sonus Faber might fit the bill. You also might want to look at and perhaps audition ACI's Sapphire III LE. I owned a pair and they were wonderful, and I think in line with what you prefer. Add their Titan II LE sub for the b...
what's so special about center speaker ? The very best center speakers are rarely horizontal woofer-tweeter-woofer. THAT is for marketing (low and wide). If you don't need that low wide look, three matching bookshelf speakers across the front would be far better.
Speakers for small listening room Sean and the others are right. Definitely play with placement before you even bother with other speakers. I'd try a long wall placement ASAP. A friend had a room about the size of yours. Two hours of moving things around made far more improvement ...
my girlfriend & I tried over 10 diff positions Of course if all in one night, that is quite amazing:)You're right, fine tuning placement yields great results. Lots of people like to use those little laser pens to get it precise. Take it easy tonight, don't want no audiophile buddies getting to...
Help with new speakers ACI Jaguars, simply superb. Combine with a pair of their Titan II LE subs and you're still under budget. Listen for yourself, I think you'll love them.
tweeters to the inside or outside Try them both ways or contact the manufacturer if you can. On my Jaguars the manufacturer recommends to the outside. And, that's where they sound the best!
Subwoofer Connection Try a Titan II LE. You'll love it. Be prepared to wait a month or two, they can't seem to keep up with demand. I think some of that might have to do with offering so many finish choices. I've done a lot of subwoofer auditioning in my 20year of aud...
Subwoofer Connection The most musical sub you can buy. Read the reviews, do searches here and at AA and AR etc. The real deal!
Most "Musical" speakers After a 20 year search my ACI Jaguar-Titan II setup completely satisfies. I spend more time just listening than ever before. What I was looking for . . .
Integrated amp to Subwoofers Karls is right, forget the HG, Go for either a REL Stadium III or an ACI Titan II LE, (my favorite sub). Either is far more musical than the Velo.
Monitor speakers - choices to narrowed down to... Wonderful, simply marvelous. Oh yeh, they can rock when you want. The kind of sound you can listen to all day. One of the nicest, most detailed and layered images you'll find. Highly recommended! |
