Interesting that they chose to use a BAT/Pass Labs combination to demonstrate them rather than their own amp. No specs yet in either the review or their website. They have some subwoofers that they're introducting as well that looke interesting. B...

Which Hi-end monitor for near field listening
As good as the SR17s are, I really recommend listening to the SR15s as well. To my ears, they are much better speakers all around. Waaay more PRAT, and a clearer midrange. Granted, many prefer the SR17s, but it really is worth giving the 15s a sho...
Which Hi-end monitor for near field listening
Silverline SR17's will do all you require (as I'm sure some of your other candidates may). Don't know what you are intending to pair them off with. At 89db they are moderately efficient so fairly versatile. Great at near field listening and disape...

very small speakers suitable for wll mounting
I'm very happy with a pair of Soliloquy SAT 5's hanging from the ceiling in my kitchen. They're close to the walls so get a bit of extra low end from their position. No rear ports to consider. Well built, small, nice finish, sound fantastic if you...

What was/is the heaviest weight amp you herd/own
So - What do you use as an amp stand? Concrete blocks?:-)Actually I did make amp stands from concrete blocks. I bolted 2X8's to the open ends and glued down small sections of anti-fatigue rubber matt to the top and bottom. Painted em' black. You m...
Markering of CD Edges
Dean - you need the Pass Labs Fred's Head Signature magnifying loupe and specially modified Fred's Head green and blue razor-point Sharpie™ set. During the month of July it comes with a free wrist-brace from Ace Bandage and a small bottle of Gojo ...
Markering of CD Edges
I asked Nelson Pass and he recommended getting a really fine tip green sharpie and drawing miniature Fred Flintstone heads all around the perimeter of the CD edge. You may need a magnifying glass. There should be room for about 178-187 Fred Heads ...
