Dated but still A rated DACs
Hegel HD25.  Picked mine up for around $1100 and it sounds fabulous.  If you don't *need* DSD, MQA or more than 192 PCM then it could be all you need.  Personally I prefer native redbook or HD files - it sounds beautiful with either.
Teo Game-Changer IC's - get on the bus!
I thought it was pretty obvious to most readers that you guys are either Teo people or...um...'friends of Teo'.  Yes, I do appreciate that you honored your satisfaction guarantee and refunded me quickly and without a problem, when I found they did...
Is it worth adding a Schiit Audio Eitr?
I can't recommend the Eitr highly enough.  I moved from  Curious/W4S Recovery USB decrappification setup - adding the Eitr changed everything for me, and most others who've bought one.  My bet is you'd be letting your Regen go pretty quickly.
Digital coax cable, real world experiences?
@ ShadorneAs you seem to have difficulties with reading, let me make this simple:1) I never claimed or insinuated my equipment is 'among the very best available' - whatever you think that means.  I simply stated the brands I use. People here will ...
Digital coax cable, real world experiences?
@shadorne Got it, must be my lousy Hegel DAC, Belles amplifier or Kudos speakers.  That would explain everything.  Thanks.
Digital coax cable, real world experiences?
I recently needed to buy a coax to link my Schiit Eitr to my Hegel DAC.  I did plenty of research and finally concluded to listen to the scientists and go with inexpensive digital cables.  I chose a Blue Jeans coax.  It sounded OK and I was genera...
Question about Teo Gamechanger!
I can vouch for the fact that Teo made no issue about returning my Game Changers.

Blue Jeans coax - sounds good to me
Duelund DCA16GA
@joey54 thanks - very clear explanation.  Even I should be able to manage that :-)
Duelund DCA16GA
Please excuse my ignorance - I'm just learning about Dueland.  For a regular speaker connection (single wired, around 14 ft) what is the process?  Am I correct in understanding these wires need to be constructed and 2 wires joined together?  I've ...
Experience with Bluesound Node 2 use with external DAC
I'm fascinated to read so many rave reviews about the Bluesound.  Sounds like most folks have the Node, rather than the Vault.  Which makes me wonder where you are storing your music files, in the case of Node users.  Are you streaming music files...
whats the very best sounding cables for realistic money
@bassdude2"I've also made my own anti-cables speaker cables , using magnet wire purchased on Amazon - very economical, and sound about the same."Sounds like a Blue Peter experiment....congrats, enjoy....
whats the very best sounding cables for realistic money
@geoffkait"..how could they be too bright? They’re just solid copper."I don't know, and have little interest in the theory.  They sounded a bit like fingernails on a blackboard on some tracks. Really unplayable.  On simple acoustic tracks, especia...
whats the very best sounding cables for realistic money
I don't want to bad-mouth the good people at Anti-Cables.  They were friendly and helpful.  Some people have reported wonderful results so I bought their Ref 3 SC's with high expectations. I gave them at least 6 weeks (Paul kindly extended the tri...
