Which of these power cords ?
I would suggest the Acrolink 4030. With goods plugs like Oyaide or FurutecThis is an optionHowever, Most important is the LENGTH of the cable. You will need ar least 1.5m (6 feet) . Power cables can act as filters and help reduce high frequency ha...
Single output at amp, tri wire at speaker. Any benefit?
Thank you . Haha! The solutions proposed are so logical. Silly of me to not have tried those out first. I will do the binding post jump first. CheersJag

Whest Phono Stages
I was an early Whest adopter. That was a long time ago. Mine was the tiny two box solution where one had to wire a loading resistor into an RCA plug and stick it into the unit, one for each channel. Communicating with James was an absolute pleasur...
Turntable isolation platforms
Why do you need one? Do you really need one? I needed one as my TT was on a simple table that flexed. I had (20mm thick) piece of granite made, plonked it on the table and my TT onto it. Was good enough for me.
Advice for novice needed on turntable
Keep it simple.Consider the Technics SL1200.. etc (whatever the current model is now)
HELP! Streaming to my old school audiophile system
A simple streamer like the Gramaphon will do the job.
Cartridge loading
I would guess that the difference is in the cabling. these are extremely low level signals and the cabling may be a big part of this. I loaded by AT33PTG at 200 ohms with my MacIntosh C2300. Started off at 500 ohms and as it broke in, adjusted to ...
Which belt-driven table to play Rock vinyl?
The me, the rule is keep it simple. The Technics TT's (SL1200 etc)  were designed as audiophile grade turntables. Stick with that, and enjoy the music. Maybe change the tonearm wire to Cardas or some brand you trust.
