Wow an old album that rocked your world
Memorable album was a story in itself. Went to the original Crazy Eddie store on Kings Highway and got a pair of Martin speakers to upgrade my all in one tuner/turntable/amp unit. Picked up ELP’s Tarkus and couldn’t help but get mesmerized. Partly...
IM Distortion, Speakers and the Death of Science
Perhaps only slightly related to AI but enlightening to me, I was at an audio meet when someone mentioned he worked at a major communications company that performed an experiment. They created a machine to run wild with AI software, left to its ow...
The Forest for the Trees
When I was a kid in the late 60’s all my music came thru a hand held transistor radio.  Even then I connected emotionally with certain top 100 AM radio station hits.  occasionally I would  hear someone else’s radio and recognized it sounded better...

Gotta love this thread and jump on.Call me crazy but Eddie murphy's Roxanne  in the movie 48 hours when he's in jail singing with headphones on is a better version than the Police. And a warning to y'all, do NOT put Kung Fu Fighting on this list, t...

I'll second the Sansui 9090 series.I have the DB version and over the years whatever I pair it with shines. Occasionally when a meet a repair tech at audio shops and discuss various equipment, when I let them know I have the 9090 they all tell me ...
