Review: Harmonic Precision Caravelle Speaker
Love them. I have spent over two grand on new music in the few months I have owned the Caravelle's. They just keep my foot tapping. Last month I listened to music for nine (9) hours straight and stopped only because I saw the sun rising and had to...

Wadia 861se with GNS vs Esoteric or Emm players
Talon4,If I am not mistaken the Wadia 581 with either the Ref. mods or Statement is 7-8,000. You mentioned you did not want to buy new, but if you can get a better player with the 581 than what you have I would consider it.Once I get my system sit...
Review: Sistrum Platform SP-101 Stand
Icemanlp,I was chuckling at your post because I have called Robert with the same question about the balance being off because I took one speaker off the Sp-101 and not the other.I used the Sistrum Sp-101 under my Thiel CS 7.2 and a pair under my P...

Speaker match with Pass Labs XA-160
Bartokfan,I thought the Pass LSXRTXA-460 was only a prototype. When did you get the opportunity to hear this amp? How did it compare to the XA 160? A comparison would be helpful considering the XA 160 is the amp Gandme was looking to get some mean...

A review Bound for Sound for Pass Labs fans
Gandme,Fair enough. We can both agree that Nelson makes some great amps.If you get the chance you really need to hear the X350.5 if you havn't already.
A review Bound for Sound for Pass Labs fans
Gandme,Yes this may be true with the XA and .5 series but not with the X series. I think you might find more people preferred the X250 to the X350. This may also apply with the X600 compared to the X1000.
A review Bound for Sound for Pass Labs fans
Gandme,I'm not sure I know what you are saying. What I do know is the conversation I had with Peter concerning the X350.5. He said it was the best sounding amp in the .5 series. At this time the X600.5 was not out.It was my opinion that the X350.5...
A review Bound for Sound for Pass Labs fans
From my limited experience I thought the X250 sounded better than the X350. When I contacted Pass in Oct. 2004, just before the release of the X350.5, Peter said the X350 was not their best sounding stereo amp. He also mentioned at this time that ...
Is the Pass Labs X350.5 and X1 "warm"?
Thoooe,I just sold my Pass set up because of a move to a much smaller room until I get a dedicated room built. The X350.5 is a great amp. It has the sonic characteristics you are looking for. I mated mine with Thiel CS 2.4 and Thiel CS 7.2, which ...
