TIME'S CELEBRATION: ORTOFON FIRST CENTURY ANNIVERSARY ! ! ! ! !
@rauliruegas I don’t think so. Concorde has almost identical specs to 2M Bronze, except slightly lower compliance. So it may not even be as good as the Bronze...
New Dynaudio Confidence coming ...
All I need to know is do these retain the first order acoustical crossover and time alignment network from the previous Confidence models?

@cardani No way! 2M Black is incredible.
Vandersteen Sub woofers v Rythmik Subs
Vandersteen sub will annihilate anything from Rythmik. It's musical and tuneful and integrates well with many speakers and rooms. It's as good as the best out there. It's not even fair to compare the two.
AT ART-9 vs Audio Note IQ3
If there's no cosmetic damage, install and play it. If it sounds good, then nothing to worry about.
AT ART-9 vs Audio Note IQ3
ART9 is the better cartridge IMO. Good choice.
Brass Pulley for My TT
Brass is soft and a bad choice for a pulley. The mylar belt may polish a spot and stop, or it may continue to keep cutting it and producing brass powder.Precision pulleys are made from stainless steel.
SL1200GAE New Tonearm
SME 309, IV, or V. Best tonearms in the world IMO.

@lewm I will be trying the Concorde Century. But MC Century at $12K is beyond stupid. I can get an SME Model 20 for that price. Or a number of other awesome pieces of audio gear.BTW, resonance would be at 11Hz. There are tons of other cartridges t...

Output of the Ortofon MC at 0.2mV is just too low. It will require a tremendous phono preamp, such as John Curl designed JC3+. Very low output lacks the necessary balls and drive in most systems. For MC cartridges, ART9 at 0.5mV is the sweet spot.
Who needs a MM cartridge type when we have MC?
@rauliruegas Get a 2M Black!
AT OC9/II vs AT OC9/III
What OP should really get is the ART9.
AT OC9/II vs AT OC9/III
I prefer OC9/II to Lyra. Between the II and III, III is overall better and cleaner sounding. But it has twice the compliance. I like the sound of higher compliance cartridges.
SAEC Making Tonearms Again!
Who cares about any version of SP10 and all those ridiculous plinths? There are many better current turntables on the market, with proper plinths. If anyone wants to experience that Technics sound, there's a 1200G available all day any day. And it...

@rauliruegas What are some tonearms that you think are better than SME V?
