What are your experiences with upgrading power cords on KEF LS50 wireless? yogi, I appreciate the suggestion and I’ll check audioasylum out. I’m a member on the Steve Hoffman forum as well and it’s usually void of the colorful characters on here that tend to derail a thread pretty quickly. b_limo, as always I appreciate ...
What are your experiences with upgrading power cords on KEF LS50 wireless? Oldhvymec, I know you’re Chuck’s buddy so I don’t expect an unbiased view on what transpired between us yesterday. Chuck’s entire modus operandi is to insult other members on this forum in a poor attempt to inflate his own ego which then provides ...
What are your experiences with upgrading power cords on KEF LS50 wireless? That is exactly the reason I reacted the way I did. I see one individual in particular create post after post in the same derogatory manner and it just becomes so grating that a reaction is inevitable. I’m complicit in this, I fully admit that, an...
What are your experiences with upgrading power cords on KEF LS50 wireless? I apologize for the digression of this thread but hopefully enough people saw my last post, before it was removed, to understand where I’m coming from regarding the tactless behavior of some members and their consistent lack of meaningful, constru...
What are your experiences with upgrading power cords on KEF LS50 wireless? Though I appreciate the sarcasm as usual sweetheart, that is not at all what my question alluded to. Given the specific design features of the LS50 wireless models, I’m merely interested in what owners of them have experienced when trying out new ...
What are your experiences with upgrading power cords on KEF LS50 wireless? The new model actually uses a class A/B for the tweeter. Not sure how much of a difference this would make with upgrading power cables but it’s worth pointing out.

Question for those that bolt their speakers to stands I appreciate the suggestion lowrider57. My only concern is that I won’t be using the Herbie’s Dots the same way you do or the same way they are designed to work for that matter because whatever I opt for will be much more compressed between the sp...
Question for those that bolt their speakers to stands jtcf - Thanks for that suggestion. Just a piece of soft fabric with the mounting holes cut out is something else I considered for sure. That may be completely adequate assuming I do use decoupling feet on the bottom of the stands. Any other opin...
Question for those that bolt their speakers to stands Blu-Tack works perfectly well but in this particular case I just prefer to use something slightly more “substantial” to help protect the bottom of the cabinet. Not really a performance concern between the two. Make sense?
Question for those that bolt their speakers to stands I appreciate the Fat Dot recommendation. Just to restate one of the main points here, I anticipate any of the pads I use between the speakers and stands will most likely not work at optimum capability because of the fact that I’ll be bolting the s...
Passive Bookshelf Speaker Selection About three months ago I was basically looking at exactly the same genre of speakers. Around $500 for the pair, good dynamics, neutral to slightly warm, great clarity but definitely not overly detailed or clinical or harsh. I actually bought five ...
My Demo results: I feel like I'm at a frustrating block in my speaker journey mattarms makes a great point to pick the speakers you find the most enjoyable rather than just ticking off boxes on a list. Meanwhile, oldears is officially on “time out” for recommending a headphone system.
My Demo results: I feel like I'm at a frustrating block in my speaker journey Forgive the mistype but I meant to say that I own the ML 35XTs and they are the ones that are currently $400 each. Not the new 35XTi model. Also, I could be mistaken but the ceiling height definitely looks to be a more normal 8-9 feet.
My Demo results: I feel like I'm at a frustrating block in my speaker journey First of all, it’s a miracle that anyone is able to gain any meaningful advice from posts like these, with so many different opinions being offered that ultimately steer you in a hundred directions at once. A lot of people don’t pay attention to w... |
