My findings on Magico V2.....what now?
Go try the Sonus Faber Cremona M on Naim gear. For instance NAC252/NAP300/Supercap/CDX2. Very musical indeed. The Naim gear will bring the Cremona's to life, I assure you.
Magico V2 vs. Sonus Faber Cremona M
But in case of planars or stats you have to disregard their looks. ;-) I mean, with Sonus Faber you also have a piece of art in your living room (assuming that's where they'll end up).
Magico V2 vs. Sonus Faber Cremona M
This is all relative and/or subjective. Most of the time it's a few percent improvement for twice or three times the amount spent. It's your choice. ;-)
Magico V2 vs. Sonus Faber Cremona M
Jtein, like others have said: as long as you don't make your choice based on what you hear with your Primare gear, you'll be fine. I mean, I take it you want to hear the best out of the speakers before you decide you like them or not. Not much sen...
Magico V2 vs. Sonus Faber Cremona M
I don't know about the Magico, but you can forget about the Primare being able to decently drive the Cremona's. In fact, the Cremona's are much harder to drive than is thought. And no, I'm not talking about the old Cremona's, that are even more a ...
Revel Studio 1, B&W 802N or Sonus Faber Cremonas
"Yes give me the old Salon over the new one all day. I don't buy "high end gear" made in China....."Your loss. Lots of beautiful High End stuff comes from China these days :-)To the TS: Listen, listen, listen, that's all anyone can say. Recommenda...
Need help in search of Living Voice sound
Thanks all for your input. Maybe I should have said I'm from Europe, because many of the suggestions just aren't available here, and the ones that are, usually are way more expensive over here than in the US. Avalon Indra for instance cost close t...
Cremona M worth it?
Take it from me that the M's are a lot less colored and warm than the old model was. They are still on the warm(ish) side, but nowhere near as before. It's the laidback character that I have trouble with. I just like a more up front speaker I guess.
Cremona M worth it?
Well, I've been living and breathing with this speaker for a couple of days now, which is not very long, I know, but bear in mind that I've extensively heard this speaker in four different locations already and that first impressions with audio in...
Cremona M worth it?
No, I think you mean this review by Neil Gader:http://www.avguide.com/review/sonus-faber-cremona-m-loudspeakerI'm having the Cremona M's over myself at the moment, after hearing them in four different locations already. I will soon let you know wh...
Audio Physic Virgo 5s
It's not exactly square and none of the other speakers I had in my room (and I've had quite a bit) had this problem. According to my dealer it's indeed a problem of AP. He always has a lot of problems making these speakers sound their best at show...
Audio Physic Virgo 5s
I had them in my room (18 x 18 feet, with lots of open space to other rooms) and found them quite booming. The bass on lean albums was ok (since there was hardly any bass audible), but on a decent bass-prominent album, it was always booming and bl...
Sonus Faber Cremona Auditor old v new
Hi Pinkus,Could you somehow mail me this review of the Cremona M? I'm very interested in the whole article. BTW I understand there's also a review of the Mystère tube amp. What's the verdict on that?
Which Cremona line speaker for surrounds?
What does the rest of your setup consist of? Do you already use a sub with the M's?
Thinking of adding a subwoofer for more bass.
Indeed. If bass slam and/or dynamics is what you're looking for, try different speakers and/or different (less compressed) music.
