Pre-amp questions for SCD-1 & EMC-1
The speakers are Revel Ultima Salons. I have both players because my redbook library is over 2000 cd's. The SCD-1 is awesome on SACD and good on redbook, but not great. Czbbcl, the X-350 is da bomb, my amp before this one was the Theta Dreadnaught...
My EMC-1 24 192 experience
I'm using a Theta Casblanca pre, a Pass Labs X350, and the speakers are Revel Ultima Salons. The speaker cable and the xlr from amp to pre/pro is Kharma Grand Reference.

What percent of your system cost is for cables?
I've spent approx. $16,000 retail or 31% on cables.

Am I doing my speakers Justice?
No, I have not got it to clip. I heard a pass demo at a local spot that builds their own speakers and the sound was to die for. I know that my revels are a better speaker and I just want to get everything that I can out of them. Thank for all of y...
Theta Dreadnaught amp is it just a HT amp or music
I've owned the Drednaught for almost 2 years now and I can't say enough about it. I have it set up for home theater and 2 channel listening, and it does not dissapoint.
