Has LED caught up to Plasma?
I have BOTH -I prefer my Panasonic plasma by a good margin vs. my Sony LED set -The Sony unit makes everything look like it was recorded on a camcorder..Its clear, with great color, but not filmlike ala the plasma...
EAD Powermaster 2000/EAD Ovation / Dunlavy No bass
Certainly not the Powermaster's fault -It has some of the deepest bass on the planet...
Are CD players dead
The CD player "completely" replaced the record player and was considered "state of the art" sound...
Krell vs Parasound

5-channel amp:krell kav 1500vsEAD powermaster 8300

Dave Brubeck
These "Gold Disc" lps were very rare Japanese pressings from the 70s -Quality on these is much better than the norm and sound really nice -Ive only seen a couple of these in the last 4 years-I'd play the grooves off them!
Alternatives to Klipsch Forte II
Klipsch Cornwall -A major step up from the Forte in bass and imaging- Can be had for a song used-Slightly large cabinet for HT though -Hard to beat at current price point!
Thiel 3.6's vs. Vandersteen 3 sigs
I totally disagree with the Thiels being analytical and harsh -If they sounded this way, I would've unloaded them long ago - They need strong, solid power, and a decent front-end - They will reveal any weak links in your audio "chain" - I also don'...
