NBS 3S power cable NBS can be a very heavy sounding cable. If you system is on the thin side then it will work fine, but if not it might not work well. Their power cables are some of the best, but very pricey
Are cables really worth their high price because of their geometry? I’ve always wondered why geometry in speaker cables is so important if they sound better un-shielded. Isn’t the geometry suppose to suppress interference from RFI? Wouldn’t shielding do the same thing?
MIT Matrix rev 60 speaker cables. Has anyone listened to them? My other concern with these cables is will they work with my existing silver interconnects. Does MIT need the full loom to work?
MIT Matrix rev 60 speaker cables. Has anyone listened to them? mikey8811- what speakers are you running them with?
M900U vs the world I own the M900U and yes it’s hard to beat at 15k, but is there better at 20-30k, I’m sure there’s. Constellation, Rowland, Pass, and even Levinson, to name a few.
MIT Matrix rev 60 speaker cables. Has anyone listened to them? Minneapolis Mn
Why don't speaker mfg list amps and associated equip they use to " voice " their sound? I’m sure a lot of manufacturers use more than one set of electronics to evaluate their speakers. That being said, they could be more honest about their speakersspecs. They never give exact numbers regarding impedance. Also, I’ve never seen a spec...
MIT Matrix rev 60 speaker cables. Has anyone listened to them? They’re offered exclusively through Joe Abrams on Audiogon. MIT doesn’t promote these cables Joe does on his own website. I’ve also tried searching for any info on these cables, but there’s nothing out there. I’ve chatted with Joe and he seems lik...
Raidho speakers..any interest ?? Something has to be wrong with Raidho? Their speakers have the worst resale value I’ve seen on the used market. At the minimum, I see them going for 1/4 their retail price. I’m talking about speakers that are less than 3 years old.
Why was the entry level line at Audio Research eliminated? Audio Research has always been about Reference level products with some exceptions. In the past 15 years they haven’t produced much below that reference threshold they have set for themselves. I think most of it has to do with what they believe th...
My thoughts on my new Esoteric k03xd CD player. Heard Playback designs about ten years ago also. Believe me what I heard and felt doesn’t even come close to the realism of the K03xd. Words can’t impress only hearing is believing.
How does the input impedance of an amplifier effect it sonically? Is it then more important to know the correct value of the output impedance of the pre-amp at 20HZ than to know how accurate the input impedance of the amp is.As for the amplifier input impedance is 20HZ also the number I should look for when a sp...
Who says cables don't make a difference? To the original question. The people who claim a cable can make a difference are the ones that can hear the difference when a better cable is used. I’ve come to the conclusion anti cable propaganda is associated with a group of people who’s hearin...
My thoughts on my new Esoteric k03xd CD player. I’ve heard good things about the X10, but decided to change routes.Couldn’t be more happy. I believe the new Luxman will sell for $16500.
How does the input impedance of an amplifier effect it sonically? So I assume 1/10 isn’t going to enough of a safety net when matching preamp to amplifier input impedance. Since impedance can vary with frequency and most manufacturers don’t provide accurate numbers 1/20 sounds like a safer bet when matching pre ... |
