@foggy--I didn't disappear. I am having a ball with popcorn in hand. Please show me ONE statistically relevant test that shows PC sonic impact? Please do. Cheers,

@baylinor  You should have bought one with tone controls. The one I have has tone controls and a small 5 band EQ. BTW it was also cryogenically treated.   Cheers,

I didn't realize a PC could have tone control. How on earth could that possibly work? Anyway, save yourself a few bucks and get a nice sturdy PC since they all function in the same manner.   Good Luck,
Stack Audio-SmoothLAN Network Filter- WOW!
I tried my buddies last year and guess what--I didn't do anything.    My buddy thinks it improves his sound but even in his system, I cannot hear a difference..   Expectation bias I guess.
How reliable is PS audio equipment?
I'm not sure about longevity but I assume they last as long as other gear. They have an outstanding service department.

IMO--Get a PC that is sturdy and well made. Power cords have never been proven to increase sonic pleasure. I'm not sure about the USB cable, as I have never needed one.   Good luck..
I could have started this on the cables thread.....but....
@mrdecibel,   I am glad you see an uptick in performance.   Happy Listening,

@mrdecibel    Glad you are enjoying your preamp. Maybe the factory cable was somehow damaged?   Cheers,

Sorry Ozzy62--But he does have a point. How could the FACTORY cord be a bottleneck??   Cheers,
network switches and cables.
Please save your money and your sanity and purchase a durable cable and ditch the "audiophile" switch. Nothing has been proven that either of these components affects sonic quality. Enjoy your music, don't analyze it.    Cheers,
Will a high quality preamp really make a difference in sound?? Also speaker cable
Pre amps will sound different. I have had a few different preamps and they all measured and sounded different. Speaker cables not so much. I have some modest cables that are well built and sturdy. I have had many cables throughout the years and no...
Power supply to modem make a difference?
No. How could it make a sonic impact?
