@soix this is getting repetitive, you calling me names and presenting your alternative reality (lies for sane people) and me explaining why it’s not productive and very hurtful. I see no reason to say it again. Ironically you keep digging and pro...

@tvad this happens from time to time. It's not at all new. A lot of my comments have been removed while much harsher comments I replied to were not, I am not into speculating why, I have better things to worry about.
The Horror
@soix my comment was removed, yours wasn't. Pretty unfair. I am attacked and I am the one silenced. If this one will be removed too, you can be sure I will leave the forum, my sense of fairness is strong and having removed ONE SIDE's COMMENT ONLY...

@soix I did not come out hard against the Boenickes - all I said was that for that much money there are much better value speakers. I supported it with a list. The way you doubted I knew anything about the Boenickes and if I had heard them was co...

@soix this wasn’t your first belittling/condescending comment to me. I have no idea why it is necessary. You could have asked “have you heard the Boenickes?” to the same or in fact, a better effect, without sounding what you often sound like. Feel...

@soix You doubt it? Based on what? Do you know me? Are you are above me to decide what I have and have not heard?   Yes I have heard the W5s at Alma Audio, 2 miles from my house. I have also corresponded with Sven Boenicke and struggled a lot ...
Do you past equipment appear in your dreams?
a lot of past things and people appear in my dream. Audio - not so much

I am sorry @erik_squires treats you like this. Maybe he has a bad day And I would avoid the Boenickes for sure. Lot better choices in the W5 price range

suggesting KEFs is like telling someone to go to Cabo, because... well, you just came back from Baja? Not very profound in my opinion, with the understanding of a 1000 incredible speaker choices

@audiodidact here is good part: you can get sound that you love (a lot more) by trying different speakers and amps and preamps and sources in your current budget. Members here will lend you gear and you can order it to try out and then buy it used...

I understand, I have seen and heard expensive systems and I can imagine owning and enjoying them. (I probably couldn't hear the difference between a 50K and a 150K system but it would look nice in my living room) I just realized it’s a very addic...

I did not really understand your post. Your system costs 5 times what I spent on mine. I don't think I will ever have half your budget and I think mine sounds absolutely amazing and riveting. I guess we have very different perspectives.
Non-fatiguing speakers in $10K range?
between 10 and 20K >>
Would you move to a bigger house if you could just to have a better listening room ?
I don't know what dedicated listening and dedicated listening room are but that's probably due to my ADD and hyperactive nature. I would go crazy in a minute in a windowless, stuffy room. The only way I listen to music is if I can do two other th...
What sort of upgrade from Rega Brio to go with my Dynaudio's X12?
oh, OK. yes it's subjective what sound moves you. It's hard to describe what's musical because it depends on the person and the music I like to use the terms "warm, bright, sweet, detailed, layered, rich, airy, direct, spacious, vintage" because I...
