10 Inch Tonearms
I've always understood a 12 inch tonearm to be better than a 9 inch arm in every way. Hard to believe a tonearm maker would make a ten inch tonearm if there wasn't something that made them desirable.

rauliruegas, Thanks for the link but there’s nothing written here about ten inch tonearms which is the sole purpose of my post.
Roon and Monterey
sns, Monterey stared their BETA version in June, you'd think they'd figured things out by now.

Apparently a lot of Qobuz and Tidal loyalty here.

Gang of Four 'Entertainment!' yes, the entire album.
Is The FM tuner obsolete?
WEBN got bought out in the same way that WMMS did in Cleveland. WEBN was a fairly good station in the 1970’s but it never rose to near the level that WMMS did. Both stations are so compressed anymore, I don’t know how anyone can listen to either. ...

Is The FM tuner obsolete?
I still use my tube HH Scott for FM and a tube Zeneth Trans Oceanic for AM (baseball) and Shortwave. For FM, the stations in Europe are by far better than in the States. Probably because they get so much government funding.

Crazy Good Vinyl recording fidelity on COMMAND label
Everest records were recorded well but their pressings were cheaply done. There are Everest reissues that were remastered from the original tapes, so they may be worth looking into. I like Folkway's records but they've been difficult for me to find.
How to get into high end digital? (Feeding a DAC)
Audirvana is worth trying. With free trials, I’d compare it to Roon. Anyway, there are various ways to improve your digital front end in addition to a DAC or a transport/streamer.
How to get into high end digital? (Feeding a DAC)
I understand the Chord up sampler is a real improvement to the transport and DAC arrangement. I’d do that myself if I had the extra cash flow available.https://www.moon-audio.com/chord-hugo-m-scaler.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMImqee88Wv8wIVxwiICR0YhwnWE...
How to get into high end digital? (Feeding a DAC)
Back in the day, is when I bought my Ayre QB9 and the emphasis was in how to make digital sound analogue. The technology has changed significantly since then. I was lucky in that Ayre has updated that DAC to the present. Maybe close to eight years...
