Omega Amp Opinions? Much difference between sound of Omega or Omicron?
Ken Burns' JAZZ starts Monday on PBS! The series will be flawed, Marsalis is conceited--a fabulous technician of limited musicality--but it's better than nothing. See the dissing of the series by the great W. Balliet in the New Yorker.
Omega Amp Opinions? Tbonephile--Any view on the Omicron, the baby version 350 watts but otherwise the same, as the Omega 450 watts. thanks.
Dedicated Power line I'm using the CAT Ultimate and live in Wash., DC. The only place you won't get RFI is in the basement.
Dedicated Power line I put in dedicated lines. Sorry, but almost no matter what, in my experience, the tubed phono stage will pick up RFI. But put in the dedicated lines because they'll help the system sound better.
3.6R and Amps From what I understand, the 3.6 run best with solid state amps.
Anyone Heard/Use API Power Wedge 116? Forget it. The only thing that works is the PS Audio power plant. www.psaudio.com. See Stereophile reviews.
3.6R and Amps Thanks. Does anyone have strong feelings about the Pass x600 as well?
Hovland HP100 vs CJ 16LS vs CAT Ultimate I own the Ultimate and am trying out the Bryston 7bsts. Is it your view that the Hovland is distinctly superior to the CAT?
Update - TacT 2.0 Room Correction System I should elucidate; we have similar systems: Maggie 3.6, CAT Ultimate, Nordost SPM and Quattro Fils, so I'm wondering if you are satisifed with the 7bsts.
Update - TacT 2.0 Room Correction System What's your take on the Bryston's? |
