What's in your CDP tonight? the minority report
Thanks for that rundown on Phoenix, @artemus_5 .  I hear what you are saying about the progression of a band's sound and music even though I, personally, did not care for their change in style.

Hey, @artemus_5 I will have to look into Phoenix.  Don't know it at all.
Whats playing on your system today?

A haphazard bit of catching up and some belated greetings...@tuzarupa - welcome. Saw your post (posts?) mentioning Tommy Flanagan. I love his economical and elegant style. Truly a "less is more" player. Underrated compared to his more "flash" cont...

Whats on your turntable tonight?
Thanks for the suggestion @spiritofradio I will see if I can find Sanfona on Tidal to get a "trial" listen.  I have a few other LPs by him on , but not that one.@petg60 - Magico is worth tracking down.
Whats on your turntable tonight?
@petg60 If you haven’t yet, check out Magico by the same Gismonti et al ECM lineup. Equally as wonderful as Folk Songs.

A preference for "Even in The Quietest Moments" myself, and Fool's Overture, in particular.  Love Hodgson.  "We shall never surrender."

@pjw81563I enjoyed reading your Hendrix "appreciation". Don’t know that I hold him in the exact same high esteem you do, but I’m not prepared to argue against it. An innovator, good lyricist (at his best, a poet) and gifted with an ear for beautif...
