What Do You Think Of This? Ask him nicely and get him posting on here about his problems, and we can all try to fix this even with a translator.Cheers George
DENAFRIPS DAC ---- Owner Impressions, Feedback, General Discussion, Questions and more.... Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the Denafrips Terminator and other models use the Danish "Soren Kristensen" Soekris Engineering R2R Dac board?? http://www.soekris.dk/Cheers George
Lightspeed Attenuator - Best Preamp Ever? stray_cat Now I just need to rig up a motor with remote control to control the volume knob externally with a belt. Has someone diy this before on anything? To go remote, you need the remote, a receiver, the motorised pot and power supply for it....
Anybody bold enough to try a voltage conversion on your own? Slightly hotter not worth mentioning, and it's a problem with TT synchronous motors, and some microprocessors that Krell used in their 300 integrated amp. Cheers George
DAC Suggestions Please The 1421 is priced around 1060 EUR. The 1421 se is 850euro's, even better deal than the 1541 xlr at 1290euro's http://soekris.dk/dac1421.html
MQA•Foolish New Algorithm? Vote! roberjerman MQA's claim of "authenticity" (the little blue light) is plainly bogus! See FredericV's posts (Feb 20) on the Computer Audio site! Can't find it can you post up a link to it?Cheers George.
Help! What's the white glue coming from Celestion SL600SI Your right, was it the much cheaper SL6 that was plastic? http://www.hifirelics.com/starsky10%20pics%2012.28.13/Celestion%20DL6s%20Speakers-A.jpgCheers George
MQA•Foolish New Algorithm? Vote! @lalitk, And how do you know Stereophile is not paid to keep MQA controversial? Stereophile were pro MQA, until recently when they started doing measurements, now they'er sitting on the fence a bit. They could have blown the $5.5K Aurender ...
MQA•Foolish New Algorithm? Vote! lalitk I can clearly discern the audible differences between MQA coded file at 96kHz and it’s 44.1kHz counterpart file by enabling and disabling MQA Core decoder. How do you know, all the filtering has been switched off when not in MQA but PCM 4...
MQA•Foolish New Algorithm? Vote! lalitk876 postsYes, it can be disabled. In the $5.5K Aurender A10, MQA did switched off, but part of the MQA’s filtering remained active in the Stereophile tests when measuring/playing non MQA files, and no different firmwares fixed the problem....
MQA•Foolish New Algorithm? Vote! THIS IS BS!!!! STOP ALL VOTING!!THIS THREAD SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AND RESTARTED PROPERLY, AS IT COULD DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD. AS THE TITLE OF THE THREAD IS IN DIRECT OPPOSITION TO THE "YES" "NO" VOTING CRITERIA IN THE POST, DEPENDING HOW ONE READS I...
Help! What's the white glue coming from Celestion SL600SI @shoubang Hint @shoubang , it's only the 4 bigger screws not the 3 smaller inner screw that need to be removed. And when you screw them back, just a little nip tight or you'll crack the plastic mounting plate if your a gorilla and crank t...
Linestage types versus soundstage Isn’t “straight wire with attenuation” the goal? Yes I firmly believe this, "if" impedance matching is good and you have enough volume, direct source to amp is the closest to that you’ll find to the above statement, giving the most transparent, d...
How can I tell if I need a better clock for my DAC? Sorry that first 75ohm bnc plug link, was a bnc to rca adapter, not a plug. what I meant to put up was this. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/images/images2000x2000/Comprehensive_BP_2C7559P_BP2C7559P_75_Ohm_Male_2...Cheers George |
