All I need to know about D-Sonic amplifiers
D-Sonics are cheap at $1k, Even better were the Red Dragon M500’s at S799 same Class-D module. At least they didn’t hide what they modules use last pic in the D-Sonic module." tricked up $100 Sanway subwoofer modules, that I saw for sale on Alibab...
What Class D amps will drive a 2 ohm load
Seems odd to me but can I ask why you are purchasing these amps that are over $3K without even hearing/knowing they can drive these evil Kappa 9’s Good luck btw with these IcePower based modules https://ibb.co/hZJN3q5Good test, looking forward to ...
Output Impedance and Speaker Impedance
Before you read the rest ubbcbus , the Aerial Acoustics 5T is not an overdamped design, it’s normal. A loudspeaker can’t be overdamped electrically, this is why some of the best amps for bass are from class-D, that have output impedances in the mi...
Output Impedance and Speaker Impedance
I connected the 5T’s back to the 7900, but connected them to the 8 ohm outputs. It really opened up the lower frequencies and I didn’t notice any loss in the mid or high frequencies. What’s happening using the 8ohm tap is that in the bass there i...

General question about tube preamps and gain
Call the manufacturer of the preamp and ask if you can replace with a lower gain tube. Changing a higher gain tube for a lower gain tube won’t do much, you need to change the feedback loop components to reduce the gain, a job for a good tube tech...

General question about tube preamps and gain
Now installed, you notice that the more you turn the preamp volume up, the more the tubes impart that sound on the signal. But you can’t play it loud. So could you, theoretically, put attenuators (lets say -10db) between said preamp and the powe...

"Are you trying to say Odyssey come new with Gold tuning fuses?"   No!!! you need to turn your fuse around, I said they didn't and have proved it with pics, gezz! 🤦‍♂️
Something For The Fuse Guys ...
Wait a minute! maybe all the owners of those amps, threw out the "Gold Tuning Fuses" and put in the 20c ones instead because they were better!🤔 That's what I said, (tongue in cheek emoji.)
