Review of Mojo Audio Mystique V3 DAC
Mojo Audio Mystique V3 DAC In my system, I’ve never heard such resolution, dynamics, soundstage and micro-detail. Mojo has really pulled out the stops regarding power regulation and it shows. The soundstage is so stable and full. Mostly due to th...
What sacd/cd transports have an aes/ebu output? Thanks
Plenty upper end ones have AES/EBU, but you won’t find any that output SACD even on spidf rca or toslink. The only transport that did output digital sacd that I know of was the first Playstation 1 for memory and you had to make up a lead to do it,...
Do my Dynaudio Evidence Temptations require more amp?
Hi Michael, as you said in your PM to me."I own the Dynaudio Evidence Temptations and use a McIntosh 452 amp. They sound good but I’m guessing sonething like the JC 1s that you like might be better. What is your opinion on the Mc I use? I really d...

I don't know about this integrated Isn't the AI S150 a power amp?Nothing here about it being an integrated. It's a John Curl design and I'm a big advocate of the Parasound  Halo JC1 and now JC1+, bi-polar output big current ability.Yes batman1...

djones51 Get an Audible Illusions S150 it doubles from 8ohm 150 to 4ohm 300 to2ohm 600. That looks very good for the OP, 150A per channel peak to peak, is there a non-affiliated tests done like from Stereophile, Miller Labs ect to confirm these ...

Hi  batman1 , I am a "bit" of a fan a the Belcanto Ref600M's Class-D's ever since I heard them on a pair of Raal 2 ways which were a very benign 6ohm flat load and quite efficient, the BC's sounded great into them. But after that the joy was sho...
Which good discrete R2R multibit DAC & why NOS ?
Some of the best very expensive Wadia dacs use PCM56 and PCM63 chips in them, with what they called the discrete "Sledgehammer" output boards. They also had what I found to be the best way to link it to their transports with AT&T glass BNC opti...

George - I don't believe you can use as a transport Shame, they missed a large market share, wouldn't have been hard to do, as well as not having mini hdmi output, many say it sounds the best.Cheers George

George I understood your question however I was more curious why you would want to use a server as a transport Just to get the best of both worlds, some like me audiophiles have thousands of CD’s and a great expensive dac. And would want to utili...
Synergistic Research Cable Risers?
It’s hard to imagine that a little piece of metal the size of a small button can do what they do. Like I said I’m a big skeptic but I bought them and glad I did. Goose! sorry mate, but you are a goose https://www.google.com/search?q=you%27re+a+goo...

George I’m not sure what your asking Simple, if it can be used as just a straight CD transport (no buffer or h/d involved) into your own dac.Cheers George
The best tweeter is no tweeter
I had to click George’s link to see that ion plasma tweeter, which seems so interesting but then I read reports of that model generating ozone, which is not healthy.Yeah but it’s minuscule amount, and I always have a door or a window open just in ...
Synergistic Research Cable Risers?
If an incredibly thin piece of plastic wrap can throw off the performance of a capacitor That’s a wank too, as it’s not ac music signal they're showing the effect on, but minuscule mF capacitance the test gear leads (which they conveniently don’t...
Cambridge Audio CXC Series 2
I have yet to meet the piece of gear whose performance isn’t enhanced by a good power cable. It already got a good linear supply in it, no smp noisy junk.https://ibb.co/0sD0dqcCheers George

http://www.innuos.com/en/catalog/go/music-servers-mk3 Wonder what the cd direct digital output as a redbook transport if it can do without going through the storage medium, to your own dac sounds like, did you try this? No HDMI outputs and only th...
