DIY speaker isolation base for a wood floor
Pushing up and down on the springs when they’re set up is a good way to measure the resonant frequency Fr of the system. With a stop watch count the number of complete up and down cycles and divide the total by 10. If properly set up you should be...

Anybody tried a demagnetizer on an eCard?
Main DC or AC true removal of Electrical interference
For one thing RF is coming in through the windows and entering the system through unused wall outlets, thus the cabling. Not to mention the electronics themselves generate RF, especially the microchips. I jumped off the AC grid for that and other ...

You said earlier today that two shungite plates on the USB SR were too many. So that is a case where golden shungite hurt the sound. So, maybe there are other cases where shungite hurts the sound. I want to believe. By the way I spoke to a custome...

I’m in the future, out of harm’s way. Not your future, but my future. I only come back here for the bad jokes.

mapmanFirst let’s clearly call out the fuse recommendation as totally baseless other than that there are some obsessed with fuses here for whatever reason. Aw, geez, another person who’s all thumbs. 👍

My stereo receiver is a little too bright. Can a cable help me out?
