So What Is Real?
Randi got the million from Johnny Carson when he died to go after spoon benders and dowsers. A quick search turns up Randi’s net worth at 1.5 Million. Most likely Randi got cold feet thinking, gee, I know the Challenge is rigged but maybe these cr...
So What Is Real?
Fremer didn’t go through with the Million Dollar challenge because The Amazing Randi got cold feet and it was Randi who blinked first.

I dare say we’re entering The Teleportation Tweak territory, men. I have been counseling lo these many years telephones 📞 and cellphones 📱 are bad news for the sound. Imagine how bad the sound is in a room at CES filled with a bunch of people with...

I don’t think they were stupid, they just didn’t know any better. They were too circuit hyper-focused. The same with fuses.
Should I trust movers with my equipment?

Would you donate a dollar to have these Members Review a Product?
If a reviewer reviews a pair of $650,000 Wilson speakers and decides he wants to buy them for himself the standard industry comp is what, 50% off? That’s a pretty sweet deal in my book. I suspect the reviewer’s published review of those Wilson spe...

Would you donate a dollar to have these Members Review a Product?
jbhiller OPIf someone like Ericsquires, for example, has been listening and tweaking for 30-40 years I’d be curious to hear what he has to say after living with a component for a month. Then it would be cool to contrast his view with several other...
So What Is Real?
The cat is out of the bag. Everybody and his brother knows reviewers can’t hear diddly squat and blind tests don’t mean anything. When you combine them you get squaddush.
