Led Zepplin Mothership vs. hi-res vs. newest
I have Mothership on CD and I don't think the sound could possibly be better. I have the new 2014 version of Led Zeppelin II here for comparison but haven't gotten around to it quite yet.
Why are there no high end cheater plugs?
Is a ground wire to the water pipe a better ground than the house ground to which the power cord ground is connected?
Rockwell: audiophile term "just like a pedophile"
Madman wrote,"Sure, there is a lot of shady things that go on in the twilight zone of high end audio. SOme probably not on the up-and-up. But hopefully that's the exception still and not the norm. Who knows?"Do tell. What a tease. I imagine you ha...
Can a tiny silver bowl affect music reproduction
A Helmholtz resonator's characteristics are determined by a combination of variables - volume diameter of nozzle and length of nozzle. There is no reason on Earth why a tiny little bowl cannot have as big an impact as a much larger bowl. It's not ...
Why aren't Rush fans more audiophile-natured?
Clash's London Calling is undoubtedly audiophile worthy. So is their live album the name of which escapes me. Clash rules, of course. That goes without saying.

Is there a minimum length for power cords?
Stewie, I'm afraid we've already thought of that. Duh!
Absorption panels on ceiling..what to expect?
I once tried tacking some of those soundproofing tiles to the ceiling around the first reflection points and, wouldn't ya know, they screwed up the sound. Kinda like Sonex. Made the sound all phasey like.
Audio Selection Bitstream vs Auric Illuminator
There have been a bunch of good CD treatments over the years including Auric Illuminator, also Jena Labs' fluid the name of which escapes me, Nanotech 8500, Optrix and of course Xtreme AV Liquid Resolution and about fifteen others that shall remai...
Have I Hit The Point Of Diminishing Returns?
I suspect you maybe meant to say "philosophical question" not "metaphysical question." Metaphysics is an interesting subject all of its own. Metaphysics is interesting but doesn't pay the bills. - A. Einstein

The ex demo ICs are definitely something to contemplate. Would love to have them for my humble headphone system.

I'm not about measurements either, you know, just in case you got that impression.
