educeus OP10 posts08-22-2016 11:11amThough geoffkait's diffuser idea has me thinking. Too bad there's a big TV between my PSB Imagine T2s...That sounds about right.;-)

Calling all room treatment type specialists...
educeus OP9 posts08-21-2016 3:01pmSo...Geoffkait...I have to admit I have no idea what you’re talking about. That doesn’t mean much, b/c I barely understand much going on around me anyway. Are you being funny, or is there something else to tuning ...
Calling all room treatment type specialists...
Treatements of the room sometimes actually are not related at all to room acoustics or even to RFI/EMI. Room acoustics and RFI/EMI have both been covered up the yin yang like forever, especially room acoustics. What hasn't been covered much at all...
speaker and interconnects, how nice do I need
Whichever interconnects and speaker cables you decide on for heaven's sake make sure they're connected in the correct direction. Just like fuses they're directional, and I'm referring to unshielded cables and ICs.
THE most sonically dissappointing (lp) you own of great music?
uh, Bob, your best album, Modern Times, is way over compressed.  It sounds like a radio.  Hel-loooo!

Just how much do speakers suppose to vibrate?
It’s fine and dandy to let the vibrations and flow and look the other way, but speaker cabinet vibrations that are directed to the floor should be minimized to prevent or minimize what’s generally called acoustic feedback and to reduce the effect ...

Why do I keep torturing myself with remasters?
A strange as it might seem digitally remastered cassettes actually sound very good, even spectacular. Great dynamic range, low noise and that analog sound. Examples, ACDC You Want Blood You got It (live) and Miles Davis Kind of Blue.
How many will listen to tape and vinyl in the next century?
Reelin and rockin in the next century with Sony pro portable walkman cassette player. No house power, no interconnects, no fuses, no ground. No problem.
