i remember back in the 70's, bose came out with their "super bose system" it consisted of 4 901's and their 1802 power amp. 200 watts per chanell into 8 ohms and 400 watts into 4 ohms.

i have a mcintosh mx132 h/t pre-amp tuner for 2 chanell listening paired with a mcintosh amp. is this ok?? i like it.

i used to have a marantz 4300 4 chanell receiver as a pre-amp to my mc2205 back in 2000 when i was introduced to McIntosh. in 2010 i bought a mc602 amp. the marantz was too noisy so i decided to buy a mcintosh mx132. no noise now!

i bought a used mx132 from audio classics a few years ago. after writing to them and asking questions they mailed me 1 for free. now that's what i call "customer service" i also bought 2 mc602's from them around 6 years ago!
