| What do you think of this DAC (DA1000TX) ? The THD wars of the 70’s produced some dreadful sounding equipment now sold big bucks as "vintage." Anything else I got sounds better than my desktop with coax, toslink and USB outs. | |

| Can a great system make a mediocre recording sound good? Salesmen always spout what moves product. Most poor recordings that used to sound quite musical to me no longer do, on any of 7 systems. My ears have evolved. Don’t know about you or your sales person. Still pretty good on a BT portable however. | |

| Customs and duties in USA bringing and Amplfier from Europe Never bought an amp there. In my experience (CDT, streamer, headphones etc.) anything bought from a dealer was covered under shipping charges. No customs, no VAT to USA.😎 | |

| First CD player help! Just stream an entire album and learn to curb your urges. The NADs are nice but their auto shutoff is too quick for me. Rip them CDs and you won't need a CDP. | |
