| DDC,s In my experience a DDC is just that, for converting digital outputs. If It's transparent, great. If it's transformative then that is dependant on the device it's feeding. Or it is "spend up" bias. If you think that a DDC improves SQ think again.... | |
| Question on component impedance mismatch Impedance? I think you mean gain. I traded a pre that played around 35 for one that plays around 70. I prefer the latter. That said balanced attenuaters are only useful in an analog application, between the pre and power amps. . | |
