Thrift shop find, Ohm Speakers
Before my audiophile days I went to an audio shop to buy the Ohm C's, but they were out of stock and did not know when they would get more. My ears at that time (the 70's) loved them. For the OP, as you can see, Ohm refurbishes many of their vinta...
Luxman L505-u/KEF-LS-50/25' Run Speaker Cable
For longer runs I suggest you need larger diameter cables: 8, 9, or 10 gauge wire lowers resisitance and provides more current to speakers. All my online research in the forums indicates this. Supra Classic 6.0 is 9 gauge; Kimber 8VS,8PR, and 8TC ...
Electric Bill
All I know, is compared to similar homes in my area, my bill is way higher. For me it's part of the price of being an audiophiile and lover of music. Maybe $100 per month.
Internet radio stations that sound really good

Bass leaves after amp warms up?
Heyraz, I can understand how you might take Csontos' post the wrong way taken out of context, but in context it was actually a harmless joke. This thread as a whole is a great example of audiophiles and audiophile forums at their best. A very spec...
Don Allen modded Philips/ CD changer
I have one but never quite got it to sound as good as I hoped; still sounds pretty good though. Your mileage may vary. The price for them is inexpensive to try. Contact member Todd Krieger at Audiosylum.
One artist, band, you keep coming back to
Just one is very difficult.I'd have to say Miles. (Jean Luc Ponty- a close 2nd)I seem to always be listening to his work.
Jean-Luc Ponty
I think of Jean-Luc Ponty as a master violinist, writer, producer, and arranger, a virtuoso. I have many of his recordings and attended eight to ten of his concerts, so many I've lost track of the exact number over the years. Perkins Palace, Pasad...
Simplifi Audio
Rodge, I will be sure to contact you. I do have questions about how to get the most out of the DC. Thank you.
Are there any DACs that can go low?
From my research, jitter is never totally eliminated but can be significantly decreased.
