Most expensive piece of vinyl you acquired is? Japanese pressing of The Wall, from a vendor at CES a long time ago. It was $200, but sounds wonderful! I seem to reach for regular old vinyl the most. Some of my best sounding stuff was not expensive. Most recently Lowell George: Thanks I'll Eat ...
I need help and phonostage suggestions Stevecham- How did your audition of the Liberty B2B-1 go ?
Sundazed Records I agree that Clear is great album. I have a 2 LP set w/ the debut on the first record, and Clear on the next. Strange that they skipped the 2nd album, although I have never heard it. FWIW, Twelve Dreams on Sundazed was pressed at QRP. I have not h...
Musical Fidelity is really makin me mad During that time, you bought another MF product?
Well Tempered Amadeus owners Paul2240- do you use the supplied WTL Speed strobe record to check the speed. Just curious, because i am thinking about an alternative option. Another very happy Amadeus owner here. I will be picking up a new GTA next week to replace my standard A...
Anyone try EMT TSD15 with K&K? I think the K & K (not maxxed out) MM stage is around $1650 MM or $2K w/ built in Lundahl SUT. I think Kevin does VC, because the Art Audio PS had this option. These prices are assembled, as I understood it from his website.
Anyone try EMT TSD15 with K&K? I believe Art Dudley liked the SilverCore SUT with the Tsd-15.I can't recall the model, but it was around $600. I have no idea of the K&K's price, so not sure what your $ range is???
Bryan Adams nice Saw him solo about 3 years ago at a 900 + seat venue. He was really great. Very talented !
DV 20X-L: Sutherland, Dynavector P75 or Heed.... I'm leaning toward the Quasar. While the P75 is highly praised, I have some other opinions leaning toward the Quasar.I am a new Dynavector owner, so that is an experiment in itself. I have heard DV's twice, and was impressed one time, but less so ...
Is the Townshend Rock 7 "the" giant killer? Roscoeiii- Just to clarify, when you compared the Rock 7 to the WTA, was it a GTA or standard Amadeus. I am hoping the top-down becomes top-downer with the GTA. I am luck enough for now, to be moving my Amadeus over to a second system. The GTA wil...
Is the Townshend Rock 7 "the" giant killer? Always difficult when it's not in your own system. When i heard the GTA at a dealers with my own cartridge, I loved the sound. So much so, that I bought it to take the place of my Amadeus. That said, when hearing the GTA, it was with a higher end ...
Turn table If I were you, I would either go for a Rega RP1 or a Continium Caliburn.
Anyone tried the original Playstation 1 for CD? Nahum- Is the IR receiver currently available. If so, where can they be found?
Latest Pink Moon Reissue It's a great record. Sonofjim- You have me curious, but mine sounds sublime. I will have to post a photo here, of my album/jacket, if I am able to do so. For $60, I would have ordered the box, maybe I still will for completeness sake.
Latest Pink Moon Reissue The soon to be released box set Bryter Layter, is priced at $60.00. This is a deluxe/book version of his second LP. Pink Moon, his third LP, is still $100 for the box. This is from from Acoustic Sounds website. I never heard either of his first tw... |
