Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em? ...then you have the on-board adjustments to match to room size and acoustics so room size should not be a problem. --MapmanThe 4000's are actually the same speaker without the adjustment circuits. Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em? Nice and cozy.Perhaps considering listing your speakers too as part of your set-up. There will be those who aren't following this thread but who will happen upon your virtual system.I am a little surprised the 5000s don't overpower the room. How d...
Mapletree Audio versus Decware preamps Pubul57, it doesn't look like the Mapletree is in your system any longer. What prompted the change? I can't tell from your system edits. Thanks.
Pre Pro advice. NAD T 187 or?? PDNIsn't the T187 a pre-pro and not and AVR? If you want an AVR, you need to look at T787 and others.Anyway, I checked over at another forum that has a number of posts about NAD products and Apbiii may be right: It is possible that with the new el...
Pre Pro advice. NAD T 187 or?? It's been awhile since I have followed NAD. I liked their sound - but - has NAD solved the popping / clicking sounds when changing inputs?
North Carolina Audio Club Sunday, March 11 would work for me.
North Carolina Audio Club I live in the greater Mecklenburg area. I have attended the club located in Raleigh - nice group of guys - so I don't mind a dirve. I would like to see something get going in the Charlotte area. I like Ron's idea. It could be a good start.

Zu Omen or Tekton Lore A little bit off-topic but I'd like to take a minute to congratulate Socrates7 for being tapped by Tone Audio to cover the New York Audio Show in April. In case you haven't read it yet, Socrates7 has written up a very nice review on his blog of th...
Tekton Lore vs. M-Lore Read the Zu Omen or Tekton Lore thread in the Speakers forum. Lots of comments about both there.
Zu Omen or Tekton Lore It looks like the Tekton Pendragons are being spec'd with the 8 ohm driver on the website now.
Zu Omen or Tekton Lore Now, I wish I could lay claim to the review. Heck, I might even start a Blog or become a publisher but the credit goes to Socrates7. Now, if someone has an extra pair of Pendragons just lying around, I'll be happy to review them too. |
