Opinions on the SimAudio Moon 260D CD player/transport?
I am the one who made the statement about more body and weight. I had no interest in the CD player version of the Sim as I already have 2 DACs that I thoroughly enjoy, the Mojo in my main system and a Modwright Elyse which I moved into my 2nd syst...
Opinions on the SimAudio Moon 260D CD player/transport?
@jab ": Is the Sim transport a true high end piece? Replacing a Cambridge anything is nothing to talk about. "I made a simple statement about having the Sim and like what it has provided . Likewise, expecting that someone might ask what I replaced...
Opinions on the SimAudio Moon 260D CD player/transport?
I use the Sim 260dt (transport version) with a Mojo Audio EVO DAC. I have found that it adds more body and weight to the music then the Cambridge CXC I had been using. The unit’s operation is quiet and smooth, reads redbook or CDRs with zero issues

Separating cables, is there a mat to help along the way?
Might want to try rubber pipe insulation to separate them where they touch , you can cut in it the length you need, I use it at certain points behind my rack where the ICs and power cords are right next to each other . I put a piece around a porti...
If Steve Got You Last Week...
@grannyring You're welcome. If you find that you might have an interest in the SimAudio you might want to reach-out to Nashville Hifi. I bought mine without auditioning , but maybe they have a demo model that they'd let you try at home since you a...
If Steve Got You Last Week...
I have the EVO and use a SimAudio 260dt transport. I have no idea how the SimAudio would stand up against your Innuos Zenith 3 with mods. I am still trying to decide on a server platform given I don’t have ethernet access in my living room which i...
Has "politically correct" killed the used audio market?
The Trump cool-aid is pretty potent for the gullible ,  unsubstantiated facts are sufficient for telling/backing the narcissist's self serving tale.
