Your last concert was to see who and when?
Tedeschi/Trucks Band at Red Rocks a couple of weeks ago. First time seeing a show there and it was a good one. I didn’t do a head count but they have at least 10 or 12 people in the band and they put on a great show. Derek has matured beautifully ...

Almost certainly permanent....as of now. But who knows what the future will bring? Scientists are doing amazing things with genetics, stem cells, etc and it wouldn't be surprising if they come up with a way to "cure" sensorineural hearing loss in ...

Jazz for aficionados
I was lucky enough to attend one of Jarrett's solo improvisation concerts in Hartford CT in 1980. It was 90 minutes of music that was improvised from the first note to the last, some of the most intense stuff I've ever heard either live or recorded.
Jazz for aficionados
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjfeUOxwNqs I can only describe this music as 'sublime'. Dewey Redman's tenor sax is hauntingly beautiful: EYES OF THE HEART Keith Jarrett  & his American Quartet Keith Jarrett : piano, soprano saxophone, mi...
So you just took a gummie...What song is on the menu?
@garebear - Yes, that show was at the Buffalo Auditorium. Wish I could have joined you! They did a killer jam out of He's Gone that included a "Gloria" tease. Fall '79 is just chock full of nuggets and has become my favorite Dead tour. @jerryrock...
So you just took a gummie...What song is on the menu?
Jack Straw - Grateful Dead Buffalo 11/9/79 Quite probably the best version I've ever heard. Dancin' > Franklin's Tower from this show is also mind bending, as is most of the very underrated Fall '79 tour.
Whats on your turntable tonight?
Fleetwood Mac (on YouTube) - The Green Manalishi - Albatross - Black Magic Woman
Songs with excellent advice?

un-becoming an audiophile
@p05129 I don't know, sometimes I get the impression that being an audiophile isn't necessarily about buying equipment, it's about talking about your equipment. But then I'm not an audiophile so what do I know? 🙄
un-becoming an audiophile
To the OP, being a food lover as well as a music lover, I've watched and read a bit about great chefs and it seems that many if not most of them appreciate eating simple, uncomplicated and food and they're much less fussy about it when they're not...

@ghdprentice : It appears that what you have me be more of an obsession than a hobby....not that there's anything wrong with that!
