I have seen a lot of ideas concerning Cable lifters
For those that think this is HOKUM, take a brand new fully charged Car battery and set it on a concrete floor overnight and tell me how well that works out for you. On the other hand, I am glad to see the numerous free-thinking minds chiming in h...
Green Mountain Audio
Most bigger cities that I know of have PROFESSIONALs that are skilled at rebuilding drivers—everything from new surrounds to new cones and even coils. This might not be the exact same quality speaker that was in it originally when you are done but...
Does dose anyone see these speakers in real?
You would have to hire new staff just to keep them polished.
Shave your CDs
Sketchy Science at best, has faulty manual control over the Speed of rotation which can cause chatter in the cut, Pressure on the cutting blade, and how deep to cut. That leaves far too much up to chance to be anything credible.
Most Extensive State-of-the-Art DAC Survey Ever!
I would love to have a $10,000 DAC on my system, especially when I listen to what I have. The thing is My Verey old 'Pioneer Elite SACD' with a Burr Brown DAC sounds SO very much cleaner, fuller, and robust than the Built-in DAC in my NAD Receiver...
What happened to scammer Noah Schumacher?
And they put my photo on their city limits sign banning me, but this guy does business there. Go Figure. You have to be VERY careful with doing business in Boulder, Co.
Question for Audacity Pros!
@Spatialking You would have to remind me to call them (Customer Support)! I have gotten so calloused over the years from calling on CS and at best getting, "Did you check the Forums or FAQs", that I let that one slip. I made some changes in the la...
Question for Audacity Pros!

What do the arrows mean on my cable?
@jasonbourne52   Jason I would suggest you talk to the engineers at the manufacturers of these cables. They seem to feel they have something to talk about. If you wish to come after me I suggest you come after something that I ORIGINATED. I hav...
I think I just smoked my Amp
NEVER accept what you See visually with a fuse. Measure the Impedence. If this was a fuse, I'd be surprised, it would have had to be a VERY 'Slow Blow' variety.
What do the arrows mean on my cable?
I'm sure I am not the FIRST one to mention this, but in case, Many manufacturers have discovered that the alignment in the copper atoms lines up in a way that makes them directional, Directional in how they transfer a signal the best, SO they actu...
Whizzer cone drivers
I hate even seeing them. Though they can balance out a driver, I feel that the driver was inadequate, to begin with. You are trying to get something out of a speaker than what the cone sans the Whizzer can produce. It is a cheap bridge from say ha...
Ideal power cord lengths?
@jasonbourne52 Right Arm!
Recommendation for low to normal level listening a 13.5' x 21' x 8' room
I am seeing what I consider a huge contradiction in the original statement. "Normal to low-level Listening" I consider Normal to low-level listening to have peaks into the 70 DB range as if you intend to even hear the quiet parts this is demanded....
Anyone else feel like it’s the Wild Wild West?
In reply to "No Power COnditioners" I must say, If you aren't running off of a battery then how are you stabilizing your Trun Tables motor? I know of one guy that has a table with three separate digital motors sank and is controlled via a computer...
