@dogberry  "Every specialist interest has its jargon"  Very true. The audiophile descriptions of many things sound a bit creepy to me. Not sure how a speaker can sound syrupy but I did see that as a description... I don't get too involved with...

The reviewer wrote " it’s strength is Pace, Rhythm, and Timing." How can a machine that is supposed to spin the recording at a constant, specific speed provide that? Is that not the responsibility of the musicians? Pace: This refers to the temp...
Recalibration
68pete Thanks for your response. I'm trying to understand what is done to the cables to "recalibrate" them. I haven't seen calibration mentioned by other cable manufacturers, perhaps I just missed it. Have a great day!

@ghdprentice  " Although I will not be taping anything to my speakers." I should have clarified that by writing that my Focal speakers have a glass top so no worries about the finish although I'm careful not to scratch it.
As An Experiment I Stuck A Few Things Under My Pre-Amp And Am Now On A Quest
I use a laser pointer to check for vibration and aiming my speakers. Tape a pointer on a component and aim across room to see if indeed there is any vibration present. The further you aim the beam the more it magnifies any vibration. With speakers...
Equalizer in a Hi Fi system
I have been enjoying my SAE 2700B EQ for years. Why not use EQ?
Audio stand needed....Moving main components from mechanical room to listening room
The OP might want to consider having a local cabinet maker build what he would need. I had a local guy that builds and installs high end cabinets do a pair for me. One, a riser, to go on top of my Salamander synergy cabinet. The other for my guita...

@mahler123  Thanks for your message. No need to apologize. A lot of crazy things going on out there for sure. Would be nice to meet with you. Will message you when we are planning our next trip.  I don't usually need to bundle up much. It's only...
