Yep, got tired of chasing my tail as well. Sold off all of my expensive gear and accessories and settled down with a simple integrated and CD player. No special cords or cables. No power conditioners, cones, spikes or bladders.Best move I've made.

If you can deal with the size, the CRTs are a bargain, especially if you're looking for a big screen.CRT is a mature technology as Honest! states. LCD, DLP and Plasmas still have some quirks to figure out and I really dont want to spend big bucks ... 
Cable recommendation for Soliloquy 6.3's?
I believe Soliloquy recommends Analysis Plus for their speakers. I used them when I had my 5.3s and they worked well together.

TomSure, go for the CD5x. You can upgrade both the Nait and CD5x with a purchase of a Flatcap2. One flatcap2 can power both the Nait and CD5x. There is no power supply upgrade for the 5i.Never heard the seperates but my Nait/CD5 does make music mo...
