Not any more! I am happy with what i have (lying), and my hobby is "sniping" audiophile classical CD's and lP's of e-bay auctions. However, my next purchase, of course only if i become "famous" and lucky, is VAC Avatar, and Joshep RM 22si or...?

I used Monarchy DIP, between much more "inferior" units, Marantz 63/X-ACt Dac/ x-10 buffer/ and heard no sonic difference. I believe in simpler aproach to improving the sound. Get better gear to begin with. Adding, "stuff' here and there, can, and...

If your "hobby" is buying and selling HI-FI gear every 6 months, than you are right SNOOOK! But if you are actualy buying for pleasure of listening music, than you should buy the product that you can personaly audition and, of course afford.

I would definitely start with the CD player. Now day's you can purchase "superb" CD player for the fraction of the original price. I would check used Adcom 750 cd player, which would be great with your Adcom amp. Also down the road you can get the...

It is hard to get compatible speakers and SUB! Small minimonitors satelites to a good Sub, is just matter of chance. Your best bet, is to get yourself a speakers that will accomodate your music preference, and your room acoustics. That's what you ...

If you can "stretch" little more, get Linn Majik for a couple hundred more, it is great little amp, that will satisfy you for years to come.
