Easy to Drive Bookshelf Monitor? Paradigm Studio 20's
replacement for paradigm studio 20 v.3? You will have more placement options if you go with a Rel and monitors. You might look at something from Totem. I use to own the Studio 40's and now have quad 12L's. I have a bit of upgradeitis and would like to have something from Totem but need ...
How much is too much... Buy an amp that has enough power to drive your speakers in your room. Less efficent speakers and a large room will need more power. Never buy ANY equipment on some magazine review or someone else's opinion. Go listen for yourself and buy the one t...
Rogue Audio M-120's Congrats Dave. One good thing about the 120's it that the next time you get the upgrade bug you can send them to Rogue and have them upgraded to the 150's. One of my buddies had his 120 Mag's upgraded to the 150's and it was a big difference. The ...

Request for insight/opinion Yes you are expecting too much from the Pioneer but, you don't have to go to separates. Well kind of. If the Pioneer has pre-outs, I would get a 2 channel integrated amp with HT pass-thru like the Sim Audio I-5 or some such.Good luck
Do people don't care or don't know? Fedreaams,Thanks for reinforcing the thoughts of my post. If you look at ahkba@hotmail.com's post you will see what I was talking about. Thanks again.
Do people don't care or don't know? ahkba,Beauty is in the in eye of the beholder. One system may sound horrible to you but, be the next person's perfect system. If there was such a thing as a perfect system, wouldn't every audiophile have one?
Best SS Amp with tight clean bass I disagree with the theory that amps can't tighten up the bass in a system. I went from a Yammy HT receiver to a Quad 909 and the change in bass was dramatic. Needless to say everything was a dramatically improved.Dritchey,We need a bit more info.... |
