THIEL Audio their demise... Add Cary Audio to the list. Dennis Had founded the company and was the company for many years. He was the one who made single ended tube amplifiers popular. He designed all the tube amps in Cary's current line but often said he had no idea how to ...

Pathos Classic One MKIII and Focal 807W Speakers Rudge - understood. I am talking about a non-bridged Classic One, which is what this user is probably considering. Also, the M is much easier to drive than the original Cremona.
Pathos Classic One MKIII and Focal 807W Speakers The Atkinson link is to the 807V, not W. Sorry. From another source, the 807W Prestige looks like it has similar phase angle and impedance curves, so should behave similarly. Sorry for the confusion.807W Prestige

I tried it on my hard to drive Sonus Faber Cremona's and it just could not drive them effectively. In your case, the Focal speakers seem like a relatively ea...
Speakers sonically similar to Sonus Faber? Liuto are a good option. Not surprised VA are second. I am a big fan of Totem and Aerial. They will be good comparisons. They are probably out of your price range, but if you can listen to the new Totem Elements do so. They are very nice, if they ...
Speakers sonically similar to Sonus Faber? I would stay away from the Domus line. They came in when there was a change in management at SF and the sound changed. With Olympica and Venere, the sound is back to being more like the early models. I have not heard the Toy Tower, but the small T...

Is it really useless Upscaling 16/44.1 music to 24 Sorry for the double post. I was cleaning up old windows and must have reposted by mistake.
Is it really useless Upscaling 16/44.1 music to 24 Thanks Cerrot. I am always trying to find new information on this complicated topic. The G25U is an interesting option, especially for older DACs with less good jitter protection. |
