Smooth jazz recommendations
I've been listening to Grover Washington Jr lately. Not sure of the album title but its 2 CD's.each CD is around 70 minutes long I think. Its pretty much vocal-less. Really smooth, what i'd call R&B-Jazz. What ever it is I like it -its relaxing...

any opinions on the B&K PT5 stereo preamp???
I had a PT-3(predecessor to/same as the PT-5) in my 2 channel system matched to a B&K amp. Really nice sound. People say the B&K sound is tube-like. it had cool features too. The interface/remote took getting used to. Eventually sold it wh...
What integrated to go with Paradigm studio/60's???
How about adding a good 2-channel amp to the pre-outs on your receiver? i added a B&K stereo amp to the pre-outs on my Denon receiver and the difference in sound was pretty much night & day. i have the Studio 80's and they REALLY opened up...

Either speaker is a GREAT choice! Just go audition them and go with what your ears tell you!!!

Something wrong with the Studio 100 v.2?
i felt the same way about the 100's. i ended up buying the reference 80's and couldn't be happier with them. I prefer their bass to the 100's. Plus they're cheaper than the 100's. check them out, your dealer should have them.
Is there a pre-amp not processor with a sub out?
check out the B&K PT-3, it also has a built in tuner.

I installed the cheater plug and it fixed the problem. All my other components (including old amps) only have a 2-prong plug, minus the ground. Why do they even put a ground on the cords if they cause this problem?is there any negative to using on...
