Speaker Suggestions for Next Move
I honestly feel looking to either the Volti Lucera, or Volti Rival. Lucera new, in whatever nice finish you want, can be had at the lower end of your budget. The Rival, at the top end, (though you may need to search for a deal). Sometimes Volti ha...
Looking to upgrade my Goldenear Triton ones. Need help
When I listened to the Volti Lucera’s at the Fla audio expo early this year, they were pretty amazing in te mid range. Right in the price range op noted.  For me, there was no more coherent and natural sounding midrange at the show.
HiFi satisfaction and/ or Musical enjoyment
Where did OP go? Did he/she not stick around because of the less than supportive responsive comments at first? Still being a newb with only a couple hundred posts compared with others in the thousands, I can relate. Early on I may have sometimes c...
To all you Cary SLI 80 owners, I'm looking for tube suggestions
Thank you guys for the info and input. As it stands the current factory tube set is just fine. My thought is that since Cary made the rectifier section solid state, what I’m hoping for is a bit more warmth and sweetness in the mids and highs. I u...

I have accepted the first step. Admitting that i am powerless over audio, and that my life has become unmanageable.

New speakers for 15*12 room powered by Lamm 1.2s?
totally agree with @dweller Volti Lucera or Rivals. With OP's musical taste the volti's would breath dynamic, detailed and wide open.
PS Audio IRSV selling
They really are outstanding speakers. Back in the day when I worked in the only HFI shop that mattered here in my town, we had a customer who owned a set. We didn't sell them, but we did sell him the power and repaired the ribbons in the mids and ...
Replacing Capacitors, I Don’t Wanna!
This thread had my anxiety up a bit. Back in the day I had a threshold 400A which I loved. It was a customer trade in so I bought it from my boss at a good discount. Long story short, I took it home and it sounded awful, boss said get new main cap...
High end bookshelf speakers for Small room
Two stand mount monitors really stood out to me at last year's Florida Audio Expo. The TAD's you mention and the Borrison X1 (a little cheaper option.) For my taste, if I were looking for a stand mount, I'd consider the Fleetwood DeVille. I've li...
Mission Cyrus 781 OR Mirage OM10
My vote would be for the Cyrus 781's.
