Kharma CRM3.2 FE vs Sonus Faber Amati Anniversario thanks Jtinn.I currently own Vienna Mahlers and want something that is a little easier to drive and have the option to go to tubes if I want.I heard the SF Strads and they sounded amazing, however too rich for my pocket.Vandy 5a's or Amatis annive...
Kharma CRM3.2 FE vs Sonus Faber Amati Anniversario Jtinn or Is the vandersteen 5a as refined as the Amati or Kharma. I realise that 5a's will do macro dynamics, but what about the rest of the musical spectrum.
Any info on new Sonus Faber Amati Anniversario? Branimir. Price is always an issue and we always want to spend less money. Anniversario is considerably cheaper than Strad, but I cannot hear the Anniversario. I guess if I like the Strads I will like the Anni.Looking at your system's it would see...
Any info on new Sonus Faber Amati Anniversario? Branimir.Does the anniversario have the same upperbass/lower mid tonal weight that the strad has?. I would think not( but I could be wrong), as the large baffle would contribute to that - personally that is what I like about the strad sound. Simil...
Kharma CRM3.2 FE vs Sonus Faber Amati Anniversario What do you not like with your vandy 5's?. have you considered upgrading to the 5a's. These are know to be a great speaker. Definately with the karma's you will loose bass compared to your 5's, unless you are planning to add a sub.I don't know how...
Any info on new Sonus Faber Amati Anniversario? Branimir. Yes I am looking at selling my Mahlers - too hard to drive and don't really sound that great at lower volumes - they seem to need current and volume.I just listened to the Wilson Sophias and SF Cremona at the local ho fi shop. Wilson, un...
Any info on new Sonus Faber Amati Anniversario? Thanks Branimir. Doing the sums the Amati might be past the budget. How does the cremona do full range in a large room?.I am looking for speakers that can be driven well by tubes.
Any info on new Sonus Faber Amati Anniversario? Branimir - How difficult are the new Amati's to drive. Would a cj prem140 ( 140 watts tube power) be sufficient to drive thye speakers in a large room. Are the speakers revealing or kind to not so good recordings.thanks
VTL, CTC, Lamm, ARC, EAR, Halcro, Mark Levison The VTL 7.5 is none of the best and sounds terrific. Read the soundstage review where the reviewers personal amps are the Lamm 2.1's and he bought the review VTL 7.5 pre amp.http://www.soundstage.com/revequip/vtl_tl75.htm
Conrad Johnson ACT2 against Audio Research Ref 3 Oneobgyn. Have your heard the ACT 2 or just stating ARC is best based on your upgrade from ref 2 to ref 3.
